Sanket Viramgami

Sanket Viramgami, a Baroda-based artist, completed his M.V.A. (2013) and B.V.A. (2011) in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda. His work reflects a layered worldview, blending textile patterns, Panchatantra tales, politics, mythology, religion, poetry, and history from both Eastern and Western traditions. Sanket Viramgami draws from his journey from rural to urban life, weaving personal and cultural narratives. His technique of layering patterns with charged imagery creates a dynamic, rhythmic surface that is both intricate and immersive.
