Charan post graduated in Sculpture, 2008 from MSU, Baroda, Gujarat. Charan's works revolve around the concepts and practice related to the social and environmental concerns by incorporating material and elements of the immediate surroundings. During the past few years of his art practice, consciously identified an inherent bent towards the exploration of different mediums and location to add new dimensions to his works. The materials used in my projects are derived from the exact places related to concepts followed by the intense process of documentations and surveys. This process has helped Charan to realise the phenomenon of transformation from actual to visual in a deeper metaphorical way. Charan Singh lives and works in Chandigarh.
