Dinesh Prajapati is a multidisciplinary artist with a primary focus on murals, while also actively engaging in diverse mediums and restoration practices. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU Vadodara, he holds advanced training in both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Visual Arts. His artistic journey is deeply rooted in a hands-on exploration of traditional and contemporary techniques — from handmade paper and miniature painting to fresco work. In parallel, Dinesh has developed expertise in art conservation, having restored works of historical significance, including a portrait by Raja Ravi Varma for Anil Relia’s collection and mural paintings by Nandalal Bose at Kirti Mandir, Vadodara, in collaboration with INTACH. His works have been exhibited at several leading art spaces across India such as Rukshaan Art Gallery (Mumbai), Samara Art Gallery (Ahmedabad), Amdavad Gufa (Ahmedabad), and Kadari Art Gallery (Hyderabad). Dinesh continues to expand his practice through national residencies, further refining his unique visual language that bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities.
