Born in 1995 in Uttar Pradesh, India, Kalpana Vishwas earned painting in Kala Bhavana, Visva - Bharati. Love of nature is central to Kalpana's recent works. Kalpana represents nature not merely objectively, but as something intimate and personal. Depicting the many facets of nature, the silence and mystery of the natural world rarely noticed by the modern man habituated with the fast-paced of modernity, Kalpana works meditatively using multiple mediums to execute her works. Kalpana has participated in several group shows including: Emami Art fairs, Kolkata 2020. She is the recipient of the National Scholarship in 2017. Kalpana Vishwas lives and works in Santiniketan.
