Lucas Zallmann is an Austrian artist based in Vienna whose practice moves between text and image, exploring perception, repetition, and the space between legibility and abstraction. Originally trained in economics, he began his professional career in the corporate sector before transitioning to art full-time, later formalizing his practice through studies at an art school in Vienna.
Working with recurring motifs such as skies, suns, and layered handwritten text, Zallmann creates compositions that resist fixed meaning, inviting open interpretation. His works have been exhibited and commissioned internationally, including by Dior in Seoul, where his work is held in their permanent collection.
