Born. 1983 Romicon Revola (a.k.a Romi) is an Indian contemporary artist dividing her time between India and Italy. Her multidisciplinary practice explores the interplay between natural and human-made elements. Through monumental public sculptures, immersive installations, digital art, and video, she engages with themes of ecological consciousness, interconnectedness, and spatial narratives. Her work often employs recurring motifs such as the sphere, tree, and butterfly—each symbolizing aspects of planetary interdependence, transformation, and identity. Romi's India projects span prestigious public and private collections, from international airports to corporate landscapes, reflecting her ability to create site-responsive works that integrate seamlessly into their environments. Now based in Rome she continues to develop her artistic vision, bridging the physical and metaphysical to encourage audiences to reconsider their relationship with the world around them.
