Keep your artworks out of direct sunlight. Do not lean anything against the surface of a canvas. Dust your artworks with a clean, soft rag occasionally to prevent dust buildup. Don't use cleaning products or water! Hang your artworks away from very busy and possibly messy areas. Try to avoid subjecting your artworks to extreme changes in atmosphere. Avoid excessive dryness, humidity, heat or cold. Do not frame artworks on canvas under glass, because canvases need to breathe; if it is framed, moisture may be trapped inside. Canvases experience small, subtle shifts over time due to mild atmospheric changes, so, it is best to leave them unframed to allow them to flow with these slight changes.

S.Nataraj

A whole new world of personal folklore gets exemplified through the body of work by S Nataraj. He sets himself on an unhindered escapade in which he absorbs and re-creates excerpts from real and imaginary realms. The protagonist, the artist himself, exists peacefully amidst the vast expanses profusely infused with flora and fauna that accompany, entice, fascinate and enliven his world. He tiptoes, solitarily, in a world rich with overwhelming presence of exuberant plants, trees, water bodies, mountains, animals and birds. Conversing, persuading and enticing them, at times he treats them with their favorite food galore. He thus puts a foot forward on behalf of mankind in trying to allure them to make him a part of their world. Wherein during the present age, the situation is vice versa There are many layers and meanings concealed within the anecdotes that get depicted in his paintings. Myriad symbolic references get delicately juxtaposed in various sections to be deciphered by the viewer. Like, the many hidden and veiled references in an encompassing and interesting tale, his work also amalgamates such implicit imagery that enhances the allegorical, humorous and satirical strengths of his expression.
