Keep your artworks out of direct sunlight. Do not lean anything against the surface of a canvas. Dust your artworks with a clean, soft rag occasionally to prevent dust buildup. Do not use cleaning products or water! Hang your artworks away from very busy and possibly messy areas. Try to avoid subjecting your artworks to extreme changes in atmosphere. Avoid excessive dryness, humidity, heat or cold. Do not frame artworks on canvas under glass, because canvas needs to breathe, if it is framed under glass you may trap moisture inside the frame. Canvases experience small, subtle shifts over time due to mild atmospheric changes, so it is best to leave them without glass to allow them to flow with these slight changes.

Vinod Daroz

Vinod Graduated in Sculpture from Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda (1993-1997) and MFA in Ceramic Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda (1997-1999). There may not be many examples of those who have used a basic medium as clay, associated with production of classical utilitarian forms, but used to express emotions and making works of art. Vinod Daroz is one such ceramist who has pushed forward his practice and contributed to contemporize the ceramic art movement in the country. His works are delicate yet robust. They may be repetitive in nature, yet they have an individual character of their own.
