Fiberglass sculptures are best kept indoors or under cover away from direct sunlight. Limit direct sun exposure to all fiber pieces in order to prevent fading or discolouration. They will require periodical maintenance. To ensure they receive proper air circulation, many fiber works are generally left unframed.If dust and dirt build up on the sculpture, clean the sculpture with a soft cloth or soft brush.

Y. Shivarama Chary

Shivarama Chary was born in Telkapally mandal in Nagarkurnool district of Telangana. He had pursued a bachelor of fine arts (sculpture) at the Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad and a master of fine arts (sculpture) at the S N School of Fine Arts, University of Hyderabad (UoH). In the TEDx speech, the artist recalled his first attempt at contemporary art in the third year of graduation studies, when he made minimalist stone sculptures. Metal is his chief working medium as he adds up to his compositions, gradually developed by employing steel, scrap and other raw material while using techniques like oxidization, gold and silver coating etc. Shivarama Chary work reflects his keen observation, the beautiful phenomenal world and the complexity of birth, decay and the journey.
